This module detects any unauthorized opening of the intercom to significantly improve the security of the whole installation. In the event that someone tampers with the intercom device or its housing, the tamper switch will trigger an alarm. Its small size allows the tamper switch to be installed behind another module - it does not require a full module slot - where it will connect directly to the security control panel of the required I/O Module C4-DS2-IO.

Limited Hardware Warranty: Control4 warrants its hardware product to be free from defects in material and workmanship during the warranty period. If the hardware proves to be defective in material or workmanship during the warranty period, Control4 will, at its sole option, repair or replace the product with a like product. The warranty extends only to products purchased directly from Control4 Corporation or an Authorized Control4 Dealer.
