The security relay is a simple accessory that significantly improves the security of the installation at minimum additional cost. It prevents intruders from unlocking low-power locks by applying a 12V battery to the cables connecting the intercom/reader to the lock. This device includes a 12V output for low-powered locks, and a RELAY out for high-powered locks. The security relay requires installation of the I/O Module C4-DS2-IO. Due to their small size, the security relay and I/O module can be installed behind another module - they does not require a full module slot.
