Luma Bridge is the hardware device, empowered by the Hailo-8 Al processor, that enables our new Al surveillance platform: Luma Insights. Luma Insights leverages its platform to add AI capabilities like image recognition for people, vehicles, and packages, to Luma X10 and X20 IP cameras, as well as the Control4 Chime Video Doorbell and DS2 Door Station. Surveillance-triggered events automatically send a notification, along with a snapshot of the event, to the customer’s mobile device, including a deep link for instant access to the video clip or camera livestream. Insights also provide seven days of cloud storage for event-triggered snapshots and video clips, with cloud-based video playback accessible through Control4 touchscreens and apps. As we continue to enhance our AI platform, we anticipate new capabilities, and innovative surveillance features available through Insights.
The installation process is simple, using only OvrC to configure and deploy directly into a Control4 OS 3.4+ system in just 3 or 4 steps, with no additional programming required. This makes it the perfect solution for professional installers seeking to offer their customers a cutting-edge security system for both new and existing setups. Purchase includes one (1) Luma Bridge 4-Channel, and one (1) 3-Year Luma Insights Subscription License. At the conclusion of the initial 3-Year subscription, the Customer will be prompted to renew their Luma Insights Subscription with the purchase of a new License at the standard rate, currently $99* annually. Activation of the renewal license will reinstate functionality for the Luma Insights Base Plan (plus any additional licenses that were purchased to enable higher-tier AI functionality), allowing Customers to continue enjoying the benefits of the AI platform. 3-Year Limited Warranty: Luma Surveillance products have a 3-Year Limited Warranty. The warranty includes parts and labor repairs on all components found to be defective in material or workmanship under normal conditions of use. This warranty will not apply to products that have been abused, modified, disassembled, or improperly installed. Products to be repaired under this warranty must be returned to Snap One or a designated service center with prior notification and an assigned return authorization number (RA).
